The story of Tivoli’s Pizzeria begins in Italy, where the Evola family’s passion for food was born. In Sicily, Lorenzo Evola’s grandmothers were exceptional home cooks, known for preparing traditional Italian meals rooted in simplicity, patience, and flavor. Their recipes—made with care and intention—were lovingly passed down to their son, Natale Evola.

In the 1960s, Natale and his brother Leonardo traveled and lived in different countries, carrying those cherished family recipes with them. No matter where they were in the world, cooking those familiar dishes became a way to stay connected—to home, to family, and to their Italian roots.

When the brothers eventually came to America, their dream was simple: to share the authentic flavors they grew up with. Built on that heritage, Tivoli’s was founded using old-world recipes, time-honored techniques, and the freshest ingredients.

Today, Lorenzo Evola proudly carries on the family tradition at Tivoli’s in Utica, Michigan—honoring generations of Italian cooking by turning everyday pizza into a true culinary experience.
